This weekend the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. People are enjoying Hanami, which in English would be “cherry blossom viewing.” Actually it’s just an excuse for some people to get really drunk!

I've never been to Japan, but ever since college, I've been wanting to go to Chiba. My old roommate lives there. He was in the ELI program. I was kind of stuck with him when my current roommate had to leave school, but it turned into a great friendship.
